In the Restaurant

Display lighting, catering equipment and people produce a high volume of unwanted heat for most of the year and not just in summer, although this when we notice the problem at its maximum nuisance.

In a 100-seater restaurant - add 100 servings of a cooked main course & we have an additional 5000 watts of unwanted heat in the already hot restaurant! - The equivalent of 5 single bar electric fires - just what we don't need in the middle of August.

The customers may stay until they have finished their meal - but may never come back - but if it's cool they will make their decision on the quality of the food & service.

The sight of a perspiring waiter delivering the food to your table is not the best advertisement for hygiene.
