Lighting, computers, photocopiers and people produce a high volume of unwanted heat for most of the year and not just in the summer, although this is when we notice the problem at its maximum nuisance.

Most of us now spend a considerable time at work, seated at one specific desk or work - station, usually in front of a computer screen or on the end of a telephone. Some of us even take our lunch at our desks.

A combination of high temperature and humidity, together with low oxygen levels, will cause staff discomfort, a lack of concentration and a noticeable drop in productivity.

A lack of concentration - the wrong key pressed or an inappropriate response to a customers phone call - and we have what could be very big problems in our electronic and customer choice world.
